The best way to improve your mood and keep it higher on a consistent basis over time is to maintain a list of the things you are grateful for, and review it on a daily basis. Secondly you will discover you have a lot more to be grateful for than you first thought. Reducing the amount of negative news you take in will also improve your mood.
